THE SITE
The property is conveniently located a short 15 minute drive east of downtown La Ceiba, along the Caribbean coast of northern Honduras.
THE DEVELOPMENT
Phase One of Blue Mango Beach consists of only 10 houses, right on our beautiful beach, with magnificent views of the surrounding rainforest mountains. We are adjacent to Mango Tree Villas, another American developed project, which is known as one of the most beautiful residential areas along the north Caribbean coast of Honduras. Another 30 houses will be built in Phase Two, on our adjacent property.
Amenities include a pool and entertaining area situated in a tropical oasis along the crystal clear, mountain fed, Sambo Creek River. A new infinity pool, and beach clubhouse, is underway. Both Blue Mango Beach and Mango Tree Villas boast 24 hour gated security. Satellite TV and internet are, of course, available.
The communities are astonishingly lush in the variety of tropical vegetation. Fresh mangoes, bananas, coconuts, star fruit, limes butterflies, and exotic birds abound.
GETTING THERE
Daily non-stop flights are available from Miami and Atlanta to San Pedro Sula, the second largest city in Honduras (pop. 675,000). American Airlines has two non- stops from Miami per day, and they are a quick two hour flight. Delta and Taca also fly into San Pedro and Roatan on a daily basis.
From San Pedro, there are two flights a day to La Ceiba, or alternatively, Blue Mango is only a two hour drive (excellent roads) from the San Pedro airport. Rental Cars (Avis, Hertz) are readily available at the airport, or, of course, we would be happy to pick you up and bring you to Blue Mango.
THE ESTATES / PRICING
The houses at Blue Mango Beach have been designed exclusively for the project by renowned American trained architect, Eduardo Sierra. The 2- story, tropically inspired houses, range in size from 1,800 to 2,200 square feet. American style cabinetry, appliances, and air conditioning are standard. Carports, or one car garages, are available as options. Each house has a private back yard with lush tropical plantings. Plunge pools are available as an option for each residence. House prices start at $169,900.
