Blue Mango Beach is located on the Caribbean coast of Northern Honduras, 15 minutes east of La Ceiba, its third largest city. It is a short ferry ride from the port of La Ceiba to Roatan, one of the famous Bay islands (Islas de la Bahia) and adjacent to the second largest coral reef in the Caribbean and some of the best diving in the world. Sited at the beach, and surrounded by scenic rainforest mountains, Blue Mango offers a peaceful yet spectacular getaway, while being within very close proximity to the city, and all of its services. Daily non-stop flights are available from Miami and Atlanta to San Pedro Sula, the second largest city in Honduras (pop. 675,000). American Airlines has two non- stops from Miami per day, and they are a quick two hour flight. Delta and Taca also fly into San Pedro and Roatan on a daily basis. From San Pedro, there are two flights a day to La Ceiba, or alternatively, Blue Mango is only a two hour drive (excellent roads) from the San Pedro airport. Rental Cars (Avis, Hertz) are readily available at the airport, or, of course, we would be happy to pick you up and bring you to Blue Mango. |
